We invite you to join us for an Ars Lyrica Opera Circle Soirée on Friday, May 14, 2021, at the beautiful Dukessa in the Houston Galleria area. This safely-distanced event, benefiting Ars Lyrica Houston and its Baroque opera productions will raise vital support for next season’s operas: Henry Purcell’s Baroque masterpiece Dido and Aeneas, and Jonathan Dove’s contemporary chamber opera with period instruments, The Other Eurydice.

 Thanks to enthusiastic patrons like you, we have been able to thrive and continue with our mission even during this unprecedented year. With your support and encouragement, we look to the future of Baroque opera with excitement and optimism.

We would be honored if you would join us for a great evening of live music with a performance by opera star Lauren Snouffer, outdoor cocktails, and a three-course dinner in Dukessa’s ballroom, as we raise crucial support for the upcoming season.

About Dukessa

Conveniently located in the Galleria area, Dukessa offers old-world charm and sophistication with its carved stone columns and arches, grand staircase, wrought iron balcony terrace as well as a beautifully landscaped private courtyard with a water wall fountain.

Safety Protocols

  • The venue will be filled to 20% capacity only for safe distancing

  • 60” round dinner tables sitting 4-10, according to guests’ preference

  • Masks and safe distancing required if not at the table
