Join Ars Lyrica Houston’s String Quartet for a romantic date night at the park. Set up your picnic blanket and enjoy a splendid evening of Baroque and Classical musical gems. 

This free performance will take place on the Event Lawn, so bring a picnic blanket to sit on during the performance. Arrive early to secure a spot.

The Ars Lyrica String Quartet (Hae-a Lee and Maria Lin, violins, Erika Lawson, viola, and Steve Estes, cello) performs at George Bush Intercontinental Airport as part of Harmony in the Air. They also perform frequently for mainstage Ars Lyrica programs. With their expertise in historical performance and chemistry as a quartet, this exciting concert is not to be missed.

Location

Levy Park is located just south of Richmond Avenue between Kirby Drive and Buffalo Speedway. There are no chairs allowed on the Event Lawn.

Parking

Free parking is available adjacent to the park and along Eastside Street and Wakeforest Avenue. Additional public parking ($2/hour) is available in the Kirby Grove parking garage located on the corner of Richmond and Wakeforest.

Food and Beverages

Food and beverages, including beer and wine, are available for purchase at the park’s two in-house restaurants, Love Shack and Woodshed Smokehouse. Outside alcohol is not permitted in the park.
